The Big Battery Hunt

Save your old batteries for the big hunt

Why recycle batteries?

It reduces the amount of rubbish going to Landfill sites.  Batteries in landfill sites can take 100 years to decompose.

The challenge

Under the supervision of an adult, collect as many used batteries as possible and put them in your recycle box. Why not ask your parents, relatives and neighbours to contribute in the event?

How to enter the challenge:

1) Collect as many used batteries as possible.

2) Put them in your battery collection box.

3) Carry out the fun maths tasks in your activity booklet.

4) Return your competition slip to your teacher for a chance to win some great prizes.

Don’t forget to return your big battery box and competition slip!!!

Reception X Visit Blackshaw Primary School

Hello,

Our Reception classes are twinned with the Reception class at Blackshaw Primary School. This week Reception X visited the Reception children at Blackshaw Primary School. We loved seeing the friends that we made at Christmas time.

We learnt all about Easter as the children at Blackshaw are celebrating Easter next week. We even went on an egg hunt with our friends from Blackshaw!

Thank you to all involved for such a lovely morning.

The Reception Team.
