← Homework 12/05/17 – character description
Ancient Egypt – Cleopatra
Cleopatra is a woman of wealth and gold. She looks very powerful even though it is just a painting of her. She has an amber face in this picture, showing her tan which most Egyptians would have had. She is wearing her cyan-coloured Khepresh which is usually worn on special occasions or in battle. In her picture, she is also wearing a gown of rubies and emeralds. These are very precious stones that miners would have found for her! The people next to her would be her advisor or priest. The people next to her are wearing almost the same clothes as her but she looks more important and powerful than them because she is wearing some precious clothes and robes. If a Pharoah is next to her then she must be the princess as she is wearing a headdress that princesses would wear in Egypt at the time of Cleopatra.
