Smithills Hall

We dressed up and role-played the jobs of the workers.

5X took a visit to Smithills Hall. We learned about its history and relevance during the Victorian times.

    If I were to visit Smithills Hall during Victorian times I would see the amazing Ainsworths family,less buildings and servants working.

    At Barrow Bridge I learned Victorians lived in back to back houses and you had to walk a lot to get to the toilet. I found the oldest post box most interesting because it was inside a wall.

    If I was to visit the great Smithills Hall during the Victorians time I would find wealthy Ainsworth family having coffee. I would find servants serving, cleaning and washing. I might get to see peoples worshipping in the Church.
